Janet Paulsen's Passion is Singing
Janet Paulsen is a classically trained singer. She began her career with a full scholarship to Carnegie Mellon University and went on to perform with a variety of opera companies in New England and the Midwest.
For the past few years Janet has been specializing in jazz standards and pop music performing throughout Maryland and the East Coast.
Through musical interpretation and creative delivery, Janet entertains audiences in venues large and small. Her music creates a beautiful ambiance at weddings, restaurants, and private events.
Janet loves working with orchestras, big bands, smaller combos, or the intimacy of a single musical instrument. She also is the female vocalist for the Hotel Paradise Orchestra which specializes in music from the 1920 and 1930s.
